2014-15 DK Fan of the Year

Now that you have had a history lesson when it comes to the legacy of this award, it is time to add a new member to the club.  I'll admit that it was a tough choice to make because there were a few different people who stuck out this year and deserved this award, luckily most of them are underclassmen and will probably have another shot at winning it in the years to come.

In this case, seniority and longevity were the factors that led to this person receiving the award for this year.  And so, the 2014-15 DK Fan of the Year is......

Jenni Semprini
Jenni (on the left in the stripes) earned the award this year because of her consistent attendance at BCU games throughout the years and the energy she brought to the student section.  Unlike most students, Jenni got her start before she enrolled at BCU because her older brother Kyle was a member of the men's basketball team from 2007-11.  A member of the Charger women's volleyball program, first as a player and finishing up as a student assistant, Jenni has never been afraid to get into the games or to try and stand out in the crowd (as the referee costume clearly shows).  For these reasons, Jenni has earned the right to be named Fan of the Year.
